Chimera was a female monster
in Greek mythology. The child of Typhon and Echidna, she
was killed by the hero Bellerophon, who rode Pegasus.
She was said to be part lion, part goat and
part snake and could breath fire. Often this is represented as a lions body with a goat head
coming out of the back, and a snake for the tail. There are still
vestiges of the original form in my version. Though many aspects are more
muted than in the original mythology.
